The Company exists to provide a service to the society and at the same time has a symbiotic relationship with the society and a responsibility to ensure the society is not negatively impacted by the Company’s existence. Care is taken to ensure the noise level, air quality and working environment of its members and the surrounding area is sensitively looked after sa part of the Company’s social responsibility.

As a manufacturing company using materials derived from nature i.e. wood pulp, RPM strives to conduct its operations with a minimum environmental footprint through its efforts in reducing wastage and recycling the collected waste. Reducing waste and thus minimizing its impact on the environment is a key in ensuring the sustainability of the company and the carton box industry as a whole.

In an ever competitive business atmosphere, the Company strives to infuse an ethical culture focusing on transparent and clear employment practices for labour, both local and migrant labour, ending workplace discrimination and fair treatment ot all. Destructive and damaging negative practices such as bribery and seemingly minor gifts of value above common norms are prohibited.

The Company have processes to ensure they are not purchasing products resulting from slavery or child labour.

In addition to acting socially responsible, acting ethically and environmentally friendly, an organisation driven by philanthropic responsibility often dedicate a portion of their earning for philanthropic endeavour. Donating to worthy causes such as flood disasters, epidemic outbreaks and cultural events would connect the Company to the society and to enable ti to give back and have a positive impact on society.
